No, this is a rapid roadside response membership that covers you during any road incident, accident, or event requiring vehicular or other emergency support (including ambulance, security, towing, etc). Unlike many car insurances, there’s no lengthy approval process during the incident, but rather immediate and rapid response. This also is not like insurance in that it doesn’t cover any of the vehicle repair costs, but we’ll get your vehicle to where it needs to go for repair.

We are a regional company, and are in several countries. Roadside is currently mainly used throughout Kenya - and is responding nationwide in Kenya. We also offer it in Uganda as part of our Safe Travels package. Reach out if you want coverage confirmation in your region. 

Yes you can. You can cancel anytime before your next renewal date, and you will still remain a member up until that next renewal date. If you have any issues with your payment or renewal, just send us a Whatsapp message or give us a call on the customer support line (+254 110 929 011) and we’ll be here to help resolve it or answer any questions.

We’ll take care of it! Your membership covers up to 600 km or up to 4 tows annually (whichever is reached first) per vehicle. This is more than enough for most people’s annual needs, but just in case, should you need to go over this, we can arrange a fee for service (available for existing members only) to make sure your vehicle gets to where it needs to go. We’ll work with you to figure it out 24/7.

Given the coverage on the roads for Roadside coverage, we have a number of ways to pinpoint real-time locations during an emergency:
* The member can send us a WhatsApp Location Pin, or 
* If they're using an SOS button in one of our API-integrated partner apps, we'll instantly already have their real-time location when they press the button to call for help.

Members can optionally also share with us their preferred medical facilities and frequent addresses for efficient response coordination - you may input these details in your secure member portal after signing up.

Yes, you need to be a member to access our services. By becoming a member, you register with the rescue.co team and provide us the critical emergency response information we may need to help you in an emergency. You also support our team in the work we do to ensure we are ready to assist you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, regardless of your location or the circumstances of the emergency.
